Privacy notice for this website

Last updated 28 October 2026. This notice covers the Solace Care website. The app has its own privacy policy, shown before you create an account.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: for example your first name, phone number or email, city, the languages you prefer and, for specialists, details about your practice. We don't ask about your health on this website, and we ask you not to share health details in free-text boxes.

Why we use it

  • To tell you when Solace Care opens, if you joined the waitlist
  • To contact you about your specialist application
  • To reply to partnership enquiries and messages
  • To count, in aggregate, how people found us (for example from a campus visit or a partner)

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your details
  • Send you messages that mention mental health, a condition or a specialist's field
  • Use advertising pixels that track health-related behaviour

Where it is stored and for how long

Form submissions are stored on servers we control, in line with Cameroon's Law No. 2024/017 on personal data protection, which limits transfers outside Cameroon. Waitlist details are deleted 12 months after launch if you haven't created an account. Specialist and partner records are kept while we work together and for up to 24 months after.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to being contacted, at any time. Reply STOP to any message, or write to us through the contact page.
